Susan Ryan

Dr. Ryan earned her Bachelor's from UCLA, a Master's Degree from California State University at Long Beach another Master's Degree and a Doctorate from California School of Professional Psychologists in Individuals, Families and Children. Acts a consultant to schools to help facilitate communication and therapy to provide better care for the children and teens. Usually, this means that children/teens are in therapy for a shorter time. Adults decide the issues to be worked on in therapy. Therapy can be an extremely effective tool to change your life.

I have worked with children and adults struggling with trauma, loss, grief, anxiety, depression and life changes. For instance, sometimes, the problem is simple like not being able to get a child to sleep at night. Sometimes, the problems are more complex. Adults are welcome in my office.

Therapy can be fun & effective especially for kids. I have worked in culturally & economically diverse areas of the United States. I have worked with non profit agencies such as Helen Ross McNabb, Family Services, Safe Harbor, Battered Women's Shelter & other community counseling ctrs. Working with people is a privledge.
