LCSW Clinical Social Work Supervisor, LPC-Supervisor
My 33 year career in CPS for Texas has helped develop perspective in a number of facets of human behavior and supervision. My teaching at SFASU in the School of Social Work since 1984, has provided me with opportunities to remain current in the field of social work and psychology, as well as to enhance teaching styles. I have been in private practice since retiring from CPS in 2004 and have provided individual and group supervision for LCSW, LPC, and LMFT applicants since 2001. I remain active in the teaching field as well as contract work for District Judges and CPS in providing assessments, forensic interviews, adoption and foster care studies, kinship care studies, and serving as a consultant. I am married, with three children, and four grandchildren. I am the director of a volunteer non-profit medical/dental/social work group (Projectbelize.org) that has been my passion since 1988. I enjoy group supervision and spend a portion of each session preparing for the board exam.
