I work primarily with people who are dealing with anxiety or depression. I believe that our difficulties are more often as result of how we are thinking about our problems rather than the problems themselves. I therefore use cognitive behavioral therapy as my primary form of treatment. I have also been using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My professional work can be characterized as being active, empathetic, energizing and motivational. The anxiety issues I specialize in are obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic, and phobias.
