I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor's Degree in psychology from Northern Illinois University and my Master's Degree in social work from Loyola University Chicago. I have more than ten years of experience working with at-risk youth and their families. I specialize in school social work, but I have an extensive clinical background. My experience includes, but is not limited to, crisis intervention, trauma counseling, case management, social skills training, career development, play based assessments, and Early Intervention. I am proficient in special education law and I have experience acting as LEA representative in special education meetings. I have helped implement both RtI and PBIS since 2007, before the state of Illinois required their mandatory implementation.
