Melissa provides individual, couple, family, and group therapy to adults looking to deepen their knowledge of self while improving their relationship with the outer world and community. Her areas of expertise lie in Developmental and Shock Trauma, Attachment and Family of Origin Issues, and Mood Disorders. Her trainings include Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB). She is currently working with Dr. Brene' Brown and her team towards certification in The Daring Way curriculum (based on Dr. Browns book Daring Greatly) , and is offering groups, workshops, and intensive weekend retreats.
Supervision for LMSW clinicians is provided on a twice monthly group and twice monthly hourly individual sessions. Please contact Melissa for an initial interview to see if this would be a good fit for you.
