My goal as a therapist is to provide a secure place for clients to resolve their concerns and create their desired life.You may be experiencing difficulties with relationships,struggling with events from the past and/or at a place in your life where a deeper understanding is needed. I integrate evidence based approaches to best address each individual, couple or family. I believe it is critical to provide a confidential environment to explore and understand each clients specific reasons, needs and goals for therapy.

Some of the areas I specialize in are: trauma, couples therapy, depression, anxiety, personal growth, relationship concerns,creating a healthy life and integrating spirituality into psychotherapy. I have experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and consider culture to be very important.I place a special focus on developing positive self-esteem.

I believe that on-going stress and past trauma can have a serious impact on physical health. In my practice,I utilize several somatic approach skills that address the mind-body connection. Research has demonstrated the importance of strengthening each persons skills and resources as a support for successful therapy
