I am Kelley Logans-Ali, LCSW LCDC,ACSW board approved supervisor. I retired after 28 years from Child Protective Services Division of Practice Excellence as The Mental Health Program Specialist for the State of Texas. I provided assistance to CPS workers across the state while they worked with children with severe emotional disturbance and adults with mental illness. I am currently in private practice and also an adjunct faculty at Our Lady of the Lake University.
I have worked in the mental health field for over 16 years as a clinician providing psychiatric evaluations for acute hospitalizations, individual therapy, groups, LCSW Supervision, New Social Worker Mentorship and Social Work Field Supervision. I have a wealth of clinical social work experience as well as a passion for mental health. I received KLRN Television "Outstanding Woman in the Community” 2003 For my work in the Eastside community of San Antonio, Texas.
I provide brief solution focused psychotherapy sessions which includes individual, family and groups. I also provide specialized intensive therapy for pregnant and nursing mothers. I develop goal directed treatment plans, complete therapy notes, facilitate recommendations and referrals when needed. I provide crisis intervention when needed and including referrals to psychiatrists or inpatient hospitalizations.
I provide supervision for IPR, LCSW and AMEC program this includes, weekly individual sessions. I believe in taking an individualized interest in every person whom I provide supervision. I want to make sure that each person passes the exam but more importantly I want to ensure that he or she develops into an excellent clinician providing the best services possible. I have a 100% exam passage rate since 2007. I provide mentoring to college students seeking to enter the social work field.
