Sometimes we just get tired of being sick and tired. Sometimes we wait hoping that time or chance might bring us the change we need, and it might; but often what we get is more bitter, more distant, more anxious, more depressed, more afraid, more angry or just further from where we want to be. I believe most of us have the wisdom we need inside ourselves, but sometimes we need someone to help us access it. I know it's scary to ask for help and hard to invest resources including time and money, but just know there is hope!
I use Relational and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but those are just fantasy names for saying I do what it takes to help you get what you need. I specialize in working with mood issues, anxiety, adult/childhood trauma, sexual acting out, eating disorders, codependence, love addiction, substance abuse and relational issues.
I have been in practice 8 years including 5 years working in a world renowned treatment center in Arizona that specialized in working with family of origin trauma, which helped get to the underlying causes of problems instead of just treating the symptoms; and I still often use that model today.
