I am a Psychotherapist, Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Hypnotists Instructor, Reiki Master/Teacher, and a Polarity Practitioner. I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia in 1988, becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 1991. I became an Ericksonian trained Hypnotist in 2002, a Certified Hypnotherapist in 2005, and earned my second Hypnotherapy Certification and my Doctor in Divinity in Hypnotherapy in 2008. I became a National Guild of Hypnotist Certified Hypnotherapy Trainer in 2010. I have practiced in Gwinnett County since 1987 and opened an Athens in 2006, a year after moving to Oconee County.

Over the years, my personal style of practicing emerged from a blending of my continuing education, my personal life and growth experiences, an ever evolving interest in mind, body, spirit holistic health and healing practices, and a growing understanding of the absolutely amazing strength my clients exhibit in the face of painful, sometimes terrifying experiences. Being entrusted enough to be a part of this very personal process of healing is a humbling and enriching experience. I feel priviledged and blessed.

I am a member of the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Work, The National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc., The National Association of Social Workers, The International Movement Educators Association, and The Institute of Noetic Sciences.
